It’s Monday! What Am I Doing?

My Thoughts Thus Far:

First things first, I’d like to address how much fun I’ve had reading and reviewing these books. It’s been my favorite thing to do all semester long and I always look forward to blogging. Because reading these books were a part of my homework it forced me to keep a strict timetable in order to submit my assignments in time. The pace was pretty writing intensive, but in the end, it was really easy to follow.

I think my favorite book this semester was “The Ninth Configuration” by William Peter Blatty and a really close second would have to be “Dark Places” by Gillian Flynn. “The Ninth Configuration” had so many good elements and layers in it that it constantly kept me in shock.

My Time So Far

With finals this upcoming week, I’ve been doing a lot of preparation work and not so much reading mainly because I don’t have time to read. Instead, most of my time has gone to studying, working, and watching videos on youtube. The following links are two of my favorite videos on youtube.

SPOILERS for Marvel (Captain America: TWS, Thor, Iron Man, Avengers, Daredevil, X-Men), Star Trek, Les Miserables, Doctor Who, Black Sails, Vikings, and Supernatural!

The Future of My Blog!

So, it’s that time again… my class that I was updating this blog for is ending soon. However, that does not mean that my blog is ending. Instead, it will be going on a short hiatus. After that, I will still be updating at least once every… two weeks?

Let’s just agree to see how it goes. Anyway, the content will mostly be short stories that are either one shots, or part of a longer series much like the old format. I may also do book reviews still, but more sparingly.

  1. My methods for studying are almost identical to yours, just get lost in youtube videos. I checked the two links out and I liked them a lot, thanks for sharing. Love the American Pyscho gif.

  2. This blog was definitely an uplifting part of the rest of the work-week. It’s great that you’re continuing your short stories, and I wish you the best of luck. Have an awesome summer!
